Today, Monday the second of February in the city of Puebla our beloved María del Carmen Gómez Madrazo (Emeritus president) entered in plenty fullness of life where the Lord with his infinite love is grateful in behalf of all of us, alumni of the sacred heart college, for her unconditional dedication, commitment and efforts in a devout way to EXASAC Mexico and A.M.A.S.C.

Rest in peace.

Rosadela Muñoz Popoca
Presidenta 2006 - 2010

Helmond, 2009, February 4.

Dear Rosadela,

On behalf of the members of the AMASC Board and the AMASC members I would like to send you and all members of EXASAC my condolences with the demise of AMASC Emeritus President Maria del Carmen Goméz Madrazo, last February 2.

Her input as President of AMASC from 1994 - 1998 did move on AMASC in her history. I still met alumnae who remember so well the cordial and splendid organised AMASC Congress in Mexico . Her enthusiasm and vivacity transpired into that Congress. She was a gifted woman with a warm heart – and very much a Sacré Coeur child. Carmen, a real personality, cordial, so lively and humorous, and so dedicated to AMASC: we all will miss her.

During this time of mourning I am sure the family of AMASC does accompany her, you and your members with prayers and cordial affection.

I am staying in thoughts with all of you.

Love,

Hermine van Asten-Wennekers

President AMASC
